We have a position available for a carpentry apprentice to join our team.

Way Building Group is a small, growing family-owned construction company, based on theÌýSunshine Coast, Queensland.

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking on new builds, renovations and insurance work.Ìý

To be successful you will need to have the following:Ìý
Must have:Ìý

• Completed Year 12Ìý
• A white cardÌý
• Previous experience in similar role
• Ability to follow instructions and also think on your feet for day to day site activities
• Basic knowledge of hand toolsÌý
• Commitment and enthusiasm with aÌýgenuine interest in carpentryÌý
• Physically fit and capableÌý
• Driver licenceÌý
• Own car

Preferred but not essentialÌý

• Own toolsÌý
• Current ‘Working at Heights’ ticket
• Current ‘Elevated Work Platform’ ticket

What We Offer

• Above award wages
• Hourly rate will vary depending on experience + overtime + travel allowances
• Local work in the Sunshine Coast/North Brisbane region
• Ongoing work
• Monday to Friday 38 hours per week, plus occasional overtime available
