We are currently looking for an Engineering Apprentice (Metal Fabrication) to join the team.Ìý
Working with a qualifiedÌýboiler maker / welderÌýyou will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support. Ìý
Duties will involve: Ìý
- Inspection of Ladders for Safety and Compliance
- Repairing all types of ladders and platformsÌý
- Fitting of accessories
- Use workshop machines for basic operationsÌý
- Learn metal fabrication and welding (including Aluminium)
- ​Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environmentÌý
The successful candidate will:ÌýÌý
- Be a confident communicatorÌý
- Be able to undertake manual/physical workÌý
- Motivated with a genuine interest in theÌýfabricationÌýindustryÌý
- Be trustworthy and reliableÌý
- ​Have a high level of attention to detailÌý
Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing fabrication as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.Ìý
There is a requirement for regional trips for Inspection and Repair Assignments.
The successful candidate will undergoÌýCertificate III in Engineering. Ìý
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.Ìý
