MULTIVAC Australia are currently looking for anÌýApprentice Service TechnicianÌýto join our service department based in Yatala.ÌýThe MULTIVAC Service Department ensures that customers are fully supported during installation, commissioning, servicing and ongoing maintenance of machinery.

About the Role:

Working with qualified and skilled service technicians, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support as well as completing the nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrical Fitting. This position comes with fully maintained company vehicle which is available for personal use, mobile, laptop, iPad, tools and uniform.

Duties will involve:Ìý

  • Perform scheduled services on MULTIVAC Australia-supported equipment installed at customer sites.
  • Travel to customer sites for diagnosing and resolving technical issues causing equipment breakdowns.
  • Proactively investigate and address problems to ensure machines operate at required performance levels.
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone.
  • Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance as directed.
  • Install machines, attachments, and parts, ensuring their operation aligns with contracted guarantees.
  • Conduct troubleshooting to pinpoint and rectify causes of production losses, quality issues, and machine malfunctions.
  • Inspect machines to recommend repairs and parts replacements, maintaining efficient operating conditions.

The successful candidate will:ÌýÌý

  • Be capable of learning electrical and pneumatic drawings down to a component level.
  • Possess the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Be willingÌýto work weekends, travel on short notice, and maintain flexibility in working hours.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License
  • Exhibit a robust work ethic and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Exhibit well-developed planning and organisational abilities.
  • Be familiarÌýwith Microsoft software applications, along with the ability to compose professional reports.
  • Be available for potentially frequent domestic travel to support installations and on-site work.
  • Exhibit a preparedness to hold a passport for potential travel related to additional product and agency training.
